Last time....


sat with daryl this morning on the nanyang express. well its actually bus 133 but i call it the nanyang express cos its practically full brown up at that particular period of time. aniway, we strted talking about LAST TIME, when we were in amkss, how we wrecked havoc in 1/1, creatd trouble in 2/1, played with fire (literally) in sec 3, messed around in sec 4... and now we dun ever have the opportunity again... jc life is so different. still rmb LAST TIME we always did pull-ups at the door ledge, played volleyball behind the classrooms, played water war with jiying and gang nearly every other day, pon morning assembly just so we can finish copying maths homework in the toilet, mahjonged the whole nite with mini tiles at chalet, comparing PAE posting results and how he pangseh-ed me in SR and a whole lot more.


In conclusion, we sighed; last time ah last time....


there are just so many fun, mischievious, and exciting stuff u can do in sec sch dat u will never be able to fulfill in JC. yes i dun hide the fact that we get into trouble with the rules every now and then, carry out silly punishments, a couple of canings, but i never regretted a single bit of it, because it added so many pages to my life as a TRUE GREEN AMKsian.

wah stresss ah!!

6 days no update... realli no time! everday buzy... now that my engine's really started im so gonna study study study! doing homework is addictive! was in council rm all the way till 9 pm doing maths... how i wish tan jin wu was there to see our efforts. we really tried!!

and magically, somehow, when ur buzy, extra things just seem to pile up altogether. leaving ur free time REALLY free.. funny how life works... why cant everything be magically evenly spread out instead?


and u know i really learn to cherish time in jc... less than 15 months to go. i will PESERVERE!!!



council's really great lotsa nice ppl arnd to wake u up during lectures, remind u to do work, motivate(force) u to study. basically they are great friends... but i do sure hope we all make a good council too! and i do realise i have been expecting alot from myself. i dun even know if thats good or bad...


oh and council has a MASCOT! its the mr. bean bear... way cool.. soo u'll see every councillor with a brown bear with a severed backbone (haha if u watch mr bean u will notice how his bear's head never seem to be able to stand on its own).




now for me to catch up on sleep. man do i love to pig out!

one year ago today, i was taking 'O' level chi listening. still rmb how wenyao rushed to sch from *ahems*'s hse cos he ponned sch, only to find out got listening at like half an hour b4 the thing... he pia down wearing dunno whose shoe, home clothes and had to buy sch uniform from the bkshop to enter the exam hall lmao...

aniway, one year down, its 'A' levels already... i dunno how much i have been lamenting about it already but its realli waaayyyy fast time is fleeting! sec 4s had their LC today, hope tmr's one will be easy as well. (did i say i scored full marks for the sch one?)



and just now on the way home, was walking past this relatively massive guy carrying a backpack that maked him look toot. he was wearing long sleeved shirt and trousers - typical working attire. din think much of him so continue walking on. just as he passed me, he said "i know i am the most yan dao". i was like WTH? nattral reaction when what u see does not match what you hear. lol.. i immediately turned, only to realise he was talking on his earpiece LMAO. it was funny... oh well.. liars go to hell.

hmm tmr is school all over again... praise God friday is the polling day make-up holiday, and thursday is SR invest so will be missing some lessons. well i dun even noe if dats good or bad now... hmm... whole week full of meetings, meetings and more meetings.. why cant everyone's timetable be the same like in sec sch, den arranging meetings wun be so difficult, den ppl who end at 12 wun have to wait till like 5 for a short meeting... zzz...

dedicate the rest of my post to my dearest part Bs (now specialists) . i unfortunately had to miss their ORD todae for some sc events management course which was useful - only to a certain extent. hais this is damn sad i missed both RODs this year... DAMN. and for the rest of u readers, i realli dont wanna put u people thru the agony of reading this lenghty chunk of text which would have no relevance to you. so u realli dont have to read it. but it makes me feel realli good to have a chance to say it all out here. this is, no matter, my blog.

Its amazing to see how you guys have grown. been 2 years since the day i first took over u guys from lawrence. my first thought: this is gonna be a challenge. i wasnt wrong. it is immense work bringing u guys together. the times me and staff edward stayed behind after training and 'cried' about the strife of taking our individual platoons. no doubt it was difficult, and the job was often discouraging. seeing the weekly strength going on a downward curve, i constantly asked myself what i was doing to u guys. but i never regretted what i did, though i know i could have done better. soon i had to let go but i knew you ppl were in safe hands. however, i was not ready to leave just like that. you people were largely the reason i came back in december 05. 6 months down, i am truly shocked by the change each of you guys have undergone (though some people never change). some of you are like a totally different person altogether. but im sure that for the 16 of you who are left, the change is for the better. im realli happy to see people like binghao, darren and khairani in ur midst, but the cadet im most proud of is alvin; the one and only cadet whom i sent home even before training proper began. im realli shocked that u have perservered to make it thus far as i would never have imagined from the beginning of my term, and im sure the rest of the amkss ug would agree. the unity that you people have wasnt strong to begin with, but over the last 6 months, i can see the tremendous improvements, perhaps due to all the shit that u were going thru. as usual, choosing the top 5 among you people wasnt easy, but i sincerely hope that all of you will work together closely for the next one year, just like how you have for the past 2 and a half. drilling u all as cadets for the last time today, i could feel the gladness u guys must have, finally taking over. the last hentak was touching in its own way, i left with tears in my eyes. my fellow friends, ur journey has just begun. many things are on their way, but im sure as a platoon, u will enjoy this time of further trials and tribulations.

and though i choose never to say it, in my eyes, u guys are the BEST.
